Rachel is a Theatre Director who runs her own talent agency Mavris Maddix Talent, in addition to The Black Cherry Comedy Club/Theatre/Bar and has been the Arts by the Sea Outreach Coordinator since 2019, taking on the Young Producers scheme in 2021, a collaboration with Emergency Exit Arts. She has 20 years experience as an educator, managing Performing Arts Curriculums and directing productions within post-compulsory settings. 

 

In the last two years, Rachel has made contributions to The Adventures of Madame Carousel & Mr Popsy and the online production of What a Superhero Wants for Christmas. Rachel shares the core objectives of her practice with those of Tall Tails Theatre Company; she is passionate about inclusion and enabling under-represented groups to access quality performance and therefore is delighted to work further with two of her favourite performers, Abby and Richard!
